5 out of 5 stars Best Birding Magazine Ever!   March 3, 2010
DEBBIE (PARAMUS, NJ)
I am so glad I found this magazine at Amazon. Purchased two subscritions for a friend and myself and we both love love love it!
Great pictures, facts and stories that will delight bird fans all over. By far the best birding magazine I have ever found. Wonderful photography of birds I ahve never seen and some that I have. Wish they sold actual photos from this magazine. Easy to understand and will intregue even those who have never thought they could be interested in these lovely creatures. Great for those with huge knowledge of birds as this is not boring. Certainly one I will be renewing year after year.

Do you have a backyard feeder or two? Do you like to watch birds? Do you enjoy identifying them and keeping track of the ones you've seen? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are a good candidate to become a reader of Wild Bird magazine. I bought this for Mrs. Spudman because our backyard is filled with feeders of all kinds. When the first issue arrived we were not disappointed.
This is a beautiful magazine filled with excellent bird photographs, articles about various species of birds and their habits and habitats. Readers will also find information about birding events and updates concerning the hottest birding spots. We enjoy Cape May, NJ and always find a few references to this bird capital.

Yes, the last few pages of the magazine are ad intensive, but even these are interesting to read. It's a shame that the magazine only comes six times a year and that it doesn't contain more pages. We still enjoy the magazine immensely and look forward to its arrival every other month.

5 out of 5 stars BEST BIRDING MAGAZINE   November 13, 2009

I HAVE, IN THE PAST, OR CURRENTLY SUBSCRIBE, TO FOUR BIRDING MAGAZINES. I THINK THIS IS THE BEST. ONE OF THE GREAT FEATURES OF WILDBIRD IS THAT IS ALLOWS THE READER TO GET INVOLVED THROUGH THE ANNUAL PHOTO CONTEST AND THROUGH TWO READER FORUMS THAT POSE A QUESTION EACH ISSUE AND ASK FOR REPLIES TO THOSE QUESTIONS. THE BEST ANSWERS THEY RECEIVE ARE THEN INCLUDED IN THE NEXT ISSUE. SO I GUESS YOU COULD SAY IT IS MORE INTERACTIVE THAN THE OTHERS. I LIKE ALL OF MY BIRDING MAGAZINES, BUT IF I HAD TO PICK JUST ONE, IT WOULD BE WILDBIRD.

Got this magazine for my son, who is a birder. I saw the first copy he got and read the whole magazine myself. Great magazine!
